Celebrating Health Equity in Lewisham
T4H is proud to be continuing its collaboration with Modality through the Health Equity Fellowship and Public Health Lewisham, first established in 2023 and now extended through to 2027.
This partnership builds on our long-standing work with the NHS to integrate complementary health services into primary care settings, helping to improve patient wellbeing while easing pressure on NHS resources.
Working closely with three GP practices, The Jenner, South Lewisham, and Bellingham under the leadership of Dr Ama Sogbodjor, our team has been actively involved in community engagement. We’ve attended local events and group sessions, offering free head, shoulder, and back massages as part of our commitment to making health and wellbeing more accessible.
This project is particularly focused on supporting individuals who may not typically engage with their GP or health services, addressing underlying causes of health inequality across Lewisham. We are deeply honoured to contribute to this important initiative and are committed to creating lasting, positive change in the communities we serve.
