We delivered 24 sessions of welcoming health and wellbeing sessions alongside two Listening Events attended by over 120 people. The project exceeded engagement targets and revealed a strong appetite for ongoing therapeutic support in the community.
We hope to do more next year - ask your local LQ community managers about us.
Participant Feedback
“It was better than I expected. I feel like a new person. I’m buzzing. If I hadn’t
been off sick, I would have missed out.”
“This therapy continues to help me in many ways. It is like a ray of sunshine with
intense power to lift my mood… I feel it helps me be the best of who I am, which
benefits my family and friends.”
“Jayden was a facilitator for me to have a conversation with my body… He
releases tension and the joy flows freely.”
“I go for chair aerobics before I have my massage and find it relaxes me. All in
all, very pleasant.”
Therapist Reflections
Jayden (Lead Therapist): “It was incredible to see how many people opened
up. They might have come for a massage but ended up talking about things
they’d been holding onto for months.”
Sarah (Befriender): “It wasn’t just about relieving pain. People felt seen, heard,
and valued. Some of them told me it was the only time in the week they felt
calm.”
