When women flee domestic violence they often leave all their personal belongings behind. Your [services has enabled us] to provide emergency packages including beds, clothing, shoes, toiletries and more. All of which are delivered to mums and their children within days of a referral being made. It allows these families to retain their dignity and feel supported. We depend on grants to run our service and are so grateful to have received this [extra help]. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.”

At that point I was experiencing abuse and couldn’t get any finance so the clothes and everything I received saved me. I was faced with so many challenges (escaping DV) and this kind of help and support was exactly what I needed and meant so much to me. I was housed far away from work and my children’s school and all my costs were rising, life was hard. MammaKind helped me feel supported and relieved some of the pressures on me and financially. It means a lot to me that my children and I look nice and thanks to MammaKind this is possible.”
